1. Hole 14 – Randall Vines’s Hole

• Historical Significance: Hole 14 is named in honor of Randall Vines, Australia’s two-time PGA champion, who remarkably achieved 2 hole-in-ones on this hole.

• Hole Index: This hole is designated as index 11, presenting a significant opportunity for social golfers to claim the $50,000 prize (Kooralbyn club members to claim the $20,000 prize)

2. Daily FREE Entries with Social Media Sharing

Entry Requirement: Each player must share their hole-in-one attempt video on their personal social media account on the same day, tagging their playing partner, Kooralbyn Valley National, and The Kooralbyn Valley Resort, no matter the ball is in or not.

Video Documentation: Each team must have a minimum of 3-4 golfers. All playing partners must simultaneously record, with no break, the hole-in-one attempt, capturing the ball’s trajectory from tee-off to landing (including the close shot showing the ball in the hole if in, with no break of the video)

Non-Compliance Consequences: Failure to adhere to the video documentation and social media sharing requirements may result in the entire groups or members being barred from future FREE competitions. Organizers are responsible for ensuring all members comply and a copy of this condition should be emailed or shared in the group prior, as part of your group’s major completion prizes

Social Media Caption: Your post heading and video voice should start with: “Kooralbyn $50K Hanker” for the social groups (“Kooralbyn $20k hanker” for Kooralbyn Club members)

3. Eligibility for “Stay and Play” Group Competitions

Participation Requirement:The hole-in-one prize is exclusively available to participants of “stay and play” group competitions, including corporate and community golf groups.

Group Size Qualification: A minimum of 16 players per group is required to qualify for the $50,000 hole-in-one prize.

Daily Golf Groups: For daily golf groups, a minimum of 50 players is required to qualify for the prize.

Copperhead: Any Kooralbyn club members and public will qualify for the HIO, as long as a minimum of 3-4 golfers per team.

4. Special Prize for Kooralbyn Valley Members

Prize Offering: Kooralbyn Valley National golf members are eligible for a $20,000 cash prize for a hole-in-one achieved on Hole 14.

Competition Day: The hole-in-one attempt must occur during an official competition day organized by the Resort, such as Tuesday Vets, Thursday Copperheads, Saturday & Sunday Comps etc.

Video Documentation: Each team must have a minimum 3-4 golfers. All playing partners must simultaneously record, with no break, the hole-in-one attempt, capturing the ball’s trajectory from tee-off to landing (including the close shot showing the ball in the hole if in, with no break of the video), and sharing on social media, tagging their playing partners, Kooralbyn Valley National & The Kooralbyn Valley page, no matter the ball is in or not.

5. Prize Verification and Distribution

Verification Process: All the videos capturing the hole-in-one attempt must be verified by the group’s president or organizer immediately after the event. These videos should then be submitted to the Kooralbyn Pro Shop within 1.5 hours for further verification. Subsequently, the videos will be forwarded to Resort Manager Jeremy Parry and Resort Owner Peter Huang for final verification on the same day.

Winner Announcement: The winner will be announced on the same day, following successful verification and will be recorded as part of the course history in Kooralbyn Halfway House and the Pro shop.

Prize Distribution: The $50,000 cash prize will be transferred to the winner’s nominated account on the following working day.(The $20,000 prize for Kooralbyn Valley National Club members will be distributed similarly).

6. Publicity, Transparency & Fairness

Winner’s Consent: By participating, the winner and the group leader agree to interviews conducted by staff of Kooralbyn Valley National and The Kooralbyn Valley Resort. These interviews, along with the winner’s and group’s names, photos, and videos, including the HIO tee-off and landing videos, will be publicly disclosed to ensure transparency and fairness to all so this FREE HIO Offering can be everlasting.

7. Compliance with Amateur Status Regulations

Prize Limits: In Australia, amateur golfers may accept prizes up to a value of $1,200. However, hole-in-one prizes are exempt from this limit if the hole-in-one is achieved during a designated competition.
